Delete your Masigo account

In the app

1. Open Masigo and go to the Me tab.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your sign-in, profile, friends, synced devices and saved cards are deleted immediately. If your account owns a café on Masigo, our team closes it instead (to settle payouts) and confirms by email within 7 days.

By email (if you no longer have the app)

Email info@masigo.appfrom the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Masigo account". We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your login and email address (including Google sign-in link)
• Your profile, nickname and friends list
• Push notification subscriptions on all your devices
• Saved payment methods at Stripe linked to your account
• Saved lists and the link between your account and your devices

What we keep, and why

• Order records — kept as the café's sales history for accounting (Canadian tax law requires 7 years). Your email is removed, so they are no longer linked to you.
• Reviews — remain visible under your nickname only, with no link to your email. Email us if you'd like a specific review removed as well.
• Loyalty stamps and badges — stored under an anonymous device identifier, not your email. After deletion they are no longer linked to you; they disappear when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Email us if you want them wiped from our servers too.

Café owners

If you own a café on Masigo, self-deletion is disabled because payouts and sales records are attached to your account. Email info@masigo.appand we'll close or transfer the café first.
